Newsletters were thought to be a relic of the Internet Past. Dead is morbid, so they were T-REXed. Analogies were drawn to the physical catalog ones with those greasy ads you could use to wipe off...well whatever suits you. But lately, they have undergone a renaissance of sorts. Substack has played a huge role. Morning Brew is one of the most awaited e-mails for many. Subscription model is attractive for creators. The user likes the personal touch.

Everyone seems to have one (I wouldn't lie, even I contemplated launching one). So much so that now #NewsletterTwitter is replete of folks bemoaning the sheer quantum. Getting buried under the rubble. Or at least their inboxes are. First, there was FOMO of not being a newsletter subscriber. Now there is the guilt of leaving them unread for days if not weeks. Bet most of them do not get our mouse-click/finger-tap ever. Btw I use Stoop Inbox to manage all my newsletter subscriptions.

So after having lamented, I would say that there are a lot of newsletters out there. Some of which are great nonetheless - likes of Pomp and Ben Thompson are doing great for themselves. Here is a list of what I like checking out from time to time:
